Also the super sharp edges allow you to ride on any icy surface you so chose. If you take it backcountry nothing changes, the Burton Operator still performs very well and can handle almost any line. It’s especially built for women just starting out and learning how to snowboard, but also works great once you are past the beginner stage. Burton built the Feather with the goal in mind to make progression fast, fun and easy so that you can blast down those mountains in no time. With it’s Cruise Control and the soft, forgiving edge it’s really not that difficult to ride and you don’t need as much power either.
